On this course, you will explore a wide range of topics within the health and social care sector, gaining a solid understanding of how services support individuals across the lifespan. You will complete two examined units alongside internally assessed coursework, giving you the opportunity to apply your knowledge to real-life scenarios and develop practical skills. You will also choose an optional unit to suit your interests.听听

BTEC Diploma AAQ in Health and Social Care (Double)
Lessons in Health and Social Care are engaging, discussion-based and focused on real-life application. You will take part in a range of activities including case studies, group work, and independent research to help you understand how theory applies to real care settings. You will explore current issues in health and social care, develop your communication skills, and build confidence in presenting ideas.听听
Teachers will guide you through key concepts while encouraging you to think critically about how care is delivered and improved. There is a strong emphasis on developing professional behaviours,听empathy听and problem-solving skills, all of which are essential for working in the sector. Unit 5 Promoting Health Education听听
Explores the purpose of health education, the models and approaches used to promote public health and behaviour change.
BTEC Diploma AAQ in Health and Social Care (Double)

Health and Social Care has been an incredibly rewarding course that has helped me develop both my knowledge and confidence.
