What are lessons like in this subject?
In BTEC Business, we ensure that our lessons allow opportunities for learners to practise developing employability skills. Lessons build on real-life examples to help learners see theory in practice.听
In the past, we have had guest speakers from Morrisons and have also visited Cadbury World, Hull听University听and the Bank of England in London to further learners' knowledge and understanding of the business world.听
We have a range of IT suites to use for听lessons听and Microsoft Teams will be used as a library of resources to help aid independent learning in this subject.听

You are not expected to remember 2 years of content for exams so the subject is extremely enjoyable, and lessons become more fun. There is always support in case you need it for the course and lessons are not extremely complicated compared to other subjects. Exams are split so they are done immediately after each unit so revising feels a lot less stressful which I find more suitable for me. Coursework is not overwhelming and it is easier to pace yourself to finish it off and still have time to get feedback to get good marks.
